According to PSP at the DuBois Barracks, 53-year-old Amy Sheppard, assaulted the man at a nursing home, back on May 29th and 30th.
The victim told troopers that she hit him in the face and head, causing him to have a brain bleed.
The injuries were ultimately confirmed by staff at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Sheppard was arraigned and taken to the Jefferson County Jail, where she was ultimately released on a $25,000 bail.
