Punxsutawney, PA (HTRP)-- A Punxsutawney man has been charged with arson, after a fire destroyed a barn last week.
According to fire crews, the fire, which involved heavy flames and smoke, broke out early last Friday morning at a barn, located along South Main street in Punxsy Borough.
Police were told by a witness that 51-year-old Scott Wundrack, started the fire before leaving the scene.
The witness also told police that Wundrack was possibly intoxicated, and was also making suicudal remarks.
Wundrack ultimately admitted to setting the blaze, after police caught up with him after crashing a car in Indiana County.
Wudrack is being charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, as the arson charges are still pending.
